Who receives your data
Your message is received by EVE. If it concerns a particular field, we may share it with the EVE member who works in that field, only to answer you
Our service providers process your data on our instructions and under a contract that protects it:
- hosting of the site: ARCPLEX, 9 allée Montpensier, 91390 Morsang-sur-Orge, France
- delivery of the form’s emails and hosting of our mailbox, contact@event-venue-experts.com: Infomaniak Network SA, Geneva, Switzerland
We share data with public authorities only when the law requires it
Transfers outside the European Economic Area
We host the site in the European Union. Our emails, including those sent through the form, are handled in Switzerland, which the European Commission recognises as offering an adequate level of protection. Our email providers may process some data outside the European Economic Area, for example for support or security. When they do, they rely on a safeguard of the GDPR: a European Commission adequacy decision, or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses

Cookies and similar technologies
The site sets no cookies and uses no advertising technology. Our fonts and images are served from our own host: your browser contacts no third party while you read the site
We measure audience with Matomo, hosted on our own server (analytics.event-venue-experts.com) and set up without cookies. Your IP address is shortened before it is stored, so it cannot identify you; the data is never shared with anyone or used to follow you on other sites, and the detail of each visit is deleted after 13 months. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, your visit is not measured
At trade shows and conferences
When we exhibit at a trade show or a conference, you may let us scan your badge on our stand or give us your business card. We then receive your name, organisation, job title and work email, from you or from the event’s badge system
We use them to follow up on our conversation, on the basis of our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can ask us to stop at any time. Each event organiser handles its own visitor registration under its own privacy notice
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of your data (access)
- correct it (rectification)
- delete it (erasure)
- limit what we do with it (restriction)
- stop using it, including for any follow-up (objection)
- send it to you or to another organisation in a common format (portability)
To use these rights, write to contact@event-venue-experts.com. We answer within one month, and we may ask you to confirm your identity first
Complaints
You can complain to the Data Protection Commission, Ireland’s supervisory authority, through its online form (opens in a new tab) or at 6 Pembroke Row, Dublin 2, D02 X963, Ireland. You can also complain to the authority of the country where you live or work, for example the Information Commissioner’s Office in the United Kingdom or the CNIL in France
We would welcome the chance to address your concern first: write to contact@event-venue-experts.com
